Passionate about encouraging everyday cycling, Catherine noticed a gap in the market for safe and stylish cycle helmets made in the UK. She wanted to create helmets people would love to wear that were also the ultimate safe choice for urban cycling.   So she designed a prototype with a rounded shape and peak. Dashel was soon born, named after the Cornish word for thistle. Their helmets are made using green and renewable energy, a value carried through to their recycling program for old helmets.
