Michelle has always had a love for jewellery and had fond memories of spending her teenage earnings on earrings. During her successful career in luxury automotive sales and marketing, she wanted jewellery that looked and felt the part, was design-led, feminine but also affordable - but nothing like this existed. Drawing on her expertise in design and manufacturing, as well as her Mandarin studies and strong connections in China, she left the automotive industry and founded Gold Trip. Today, her brand creates contemporary demi-fine jewellery that offers the look and feel of fine jewellery without the luxury price tag, perfect for everyday wear, special occasions, and weddings.
