Whilst working as a fashion buyer, Sally became a mum and soon found her wardrobe no longer worked. She needed comfortable, quality clothing that worked for her body and lifestyle but none of her 50+ t-shirts were cutting it - mass produced, ill fitting, had washed badly, had shrunk/twisted/pilled. Frustrated that the simplest item in our wardrobes was not being done well enough, she stopped searching for the perfect tee and created it herself - ethically and responsibly. She launched Ivy with 6 t-shirts in 2017, a month before having her second child, and 8 years on has a full range of organic cotton t-shirts, sweatshirts, dresses and bottoms designed for real bodies and real lives.
