Clem started Kavee because of her own guinea pigs, Livingstone and Bagpipe. She loved them, but hated how small, ugly, flimsy and impractical their cages were and how little care the pet industry seemed to give small animals. What began as one woman trying to build a better home for her pets slowly became Kavee: a brand created to give small pets globally the comfort, space and dignity they deserve.
