Originally from Yorkshire, Sam moved to London at 19 to pursue the bright lights in theatre and the world of performing, where health took a back seat to appearance and crash dieting. After experiencing serious physical effects, she shifted focus toward recovery, later teaching Pilates. This sparked a holistic view of wellbeing and led Sam to kefir. Despite not having intentions of starting a business, Sam knew she was onto something special. She started to feel the benefits: her energy levels increased, her hairhealth was so much better, and so was her digestion, which she had always struggled with. And there came the birth of Ki Kefir. 7 years later Sam has a small company, amazing stockists and the most incredible team, all thanks to the “champagne of dairy".
