Nicky started likemary after years of travelling with one handwoven merino shawl she’d bought in India and taken everywhere. Wrapped in it on long bus rides and chilly evenings, she realised she wanted to share pieces that carried the same warmth and quiet story behind them. After a short stint in London fashion, she returned to India to work directly with weavers, slowly growing likemary from a Portobello Market stall to what it is today.
