When Simonetta and Charlotte we're doing a student project for their design engineering masters, they got chatting about the frustration of having too many passwords, which was only going to get worse in their expanding digital lives. If this was hard for a team of techies, they thought to themselves, it was undoubtedly more problematic for everyday internet users. So they made it their mission to tackle cybersecurity and created the simplest app, Nettoken, for managing our passwords in one place, fit for everyone in the household. Their work has made cybersecurity less intimidating and more inclusive and has already won the support of notable institutions such as the GCHQ, National Cybersecurity Center, Wayra Telefónica and Virgin.
