When Emma’s grandfather, a man with a serious passion for all things whisky, passed away, he left his whisky collection of over 300+ 5cl bottles he collected from around the world, to her. Emma wanted to understand why her grandfather spent his whole life collecting whisky and why he loved it so much, as she didn’t like it at all (she thought). On her journey, Emma fell in love with the stories, history and, of course, the taste. Then, Emma decided to share her newfound love of whisky with her best friend, Alishia. Together, they realised that the whisky industry had so much untapped potential. From University flatmates to business partners, they launched NOVEL Whisky to share their non-traditional whisky love with the world.
