Aliya worked in the luxury swimwear industry for over 15 years before realising she wanted to start a brand of her own. Drawing inspiration from her childhood in Ibiza, she set about hand-painting designs and creating a collection with colours and exotic prints bursting with the islands personality and glory. In 2022 she finally took the plunge and launched sal, a sustainable swimwear brand that is all about escapism and inspiring that holiday feeling year-round.
