Jyo got the idea for Sama Sundays on a trip through Jaipur, where she spent time with artisans and saw first-hand the centuries-old traditions behind hand block printing, natural dyeing, and working with organic cotton. What struck her most was how these crafts weren't just about making beautiful things—they reflected a slower, more mindful way of life. Inspired by India's rituals of rest and relaxation, she created Sama Sundays to bring that feeling into everyday moments through thoughtfully crafted nightwear and loungewear made to be lived in, unwound in, and cherished.
