Truly shocked by the amount of single-use plastic that Lisas family of five was discarding on a weekly basis, Lisa vowed to do better for the planet. This meant lots of changes around the house to more eco-friendly alternatives. Her family struggled with the switch from liquid soap to solid bars for hand, hair, and body washing; no one wanted to share the bars, there was always a random hair, and the bars ended up a slimy mess on the sink. Having searched and searched, Lisa could not find anything that gave her the best of both worlds, the convenience of a dispenser plus the added benefits of a solid. Not put off by this, Lisa set out to design a solid soap dispenser. Three years later, SNOAP was launched with the purpose of removing single-use plastic from our bathrooms, cleaning the wastewater we produce, and being kinder to our skin and hair, all while saving money.
