The early days of pitta chip production began in Sophie's garden shed in Stoke Newington, Hackney. Wanting to serve her friends something natural and homemade, the chips we're created by mixing fresh ingredients with pitta bread and then oven roasting with olive oil creating an extremely crunchy pitta chip that was the perfect all natural party snack to have with sips and dips before dinner. It was here that the Soffles brand was created with late nights of hand printing artwork onto paper bags and bicycle deliveries to the local grocery stores and pubs being the very start of SOFFLES.
