Zoë was a mum to a toilet-training toddler and carer to her disabled father when she had the idea to invent a tiny toilet solution that could be used by all ages on the go, while being leakproof and long-lasting. The Kids Whizzer launched in 2021 and, after its success led Zoë to Dragons’ Den a few years later, demand for an adult version brought on the transformation of the bootstrapped business.

The Whizzer is now a travel essential used in an ever-growing list of situations that could never have been imagined when Zoë first handed her hand-drawn design over to the factory that helped bring the concept to life. From cars and camping to pregnancy and prostates, it gives everyone, including vehicle-based workers and those requiring it as a medical aid, peace of mind and dignity on the go. It’s a business grown through organic success, breaking the toilet-talk taboo one Whizzer at a time.
