Farmer’s daughter Kathryn spotted a gap for British Pasta in 2019. Time spent in Italy led to the realisation that not all pasta is equal! Learning the importance of skilled methods of TRUE artisan pasta, bronze drawing for the perfect sauce-cuddling pasta, slow-drying overnight to develop delicious unbeatable flavour. Driven to create incredible pasta with sustainability at the forefront, Kathryn came home to quit her corporate career and set up The Yorkshire Pasta Company. Her pasta is made traditionally using locally milled wheat flour, water and solar energy, all packaged in striking recyclable paper bags. Now a Mum of two, Kathryn is so proud of this legacy and creating her award-winning pasta in Yorkshire.
