Elizabeth wanted to turn her typical 1970s British bungalow into something more eye-catching. She decided a beautifully designed, contemporary front door would have a transformative effect. When the search for the perfect door proved fruitless, Elizabeth persuaded husband Nabil to make one instead. Within days of fitting it, she found herself inundated by passers-by asking where the handcrafted door was from. Just a year later, in February 2005, Urban Front was launched.
