When Helen worked in London’s financial district, the long hours began taking a toll on her health. Helen’s mum, who was living in the Far East, started sending her care packages full of delicious, healthy snacks that made Helen feel so much better. Realising that these snacks weren’t available anywhere in the UK, Helen decided that she had to start her own brand to share them with others and so, Abacus was born.
