Elin's idea for Better Nature came from a desire to eat protein that was better; better for her health, better for animals and better for the planet. That's why she was excited about tempeh - a protein from Indonesia with a similar protein content to chicken while also being high in fibre, gut-friendly and all natural. She was introduced to it by her co-founder Ando, who had done a PhD on tempeh's impact on human health and set up a charity to promote it. Now they're on a mission to get the world eating tempeh (or as they call it, supercharged protein).
