Growing up in Italy, Michela fell in love with farinata, a savoury pancake made from chickpea flour, water, extra virgin olive oil and salt. Years later, a dinner-party dilemma inspired her to bring it to the table, looking for something delicious that friends with different dietary needs could all enjoy. Everyone loved it, sparking the idea for Chickpowa. Her mission is to make chickpea flour the hidden hero of everyday food, creating delicious farinata and chickpea crackers for everyone to enjoy.
