When Karina and Maciek were students, and soon-to-be parents, they became acutely aware of the scale of the food waste crisis. With big dreams and barely enough in their bank account for a takeaway, they decided to take action. Inspired by both of their nan’s gardens and legendary recipes, they began cold-pressing fruit and founded Flawsome! Drinks with a clear mission: to prove that beauty is more than skin deep. By transforming “wonky” fruit that doesn’t meet cosmetic standards into delicious cold-pressed juices, they’re helping people embrace imperfection and aiming to save 20,000 tonnes of surplus produce by 2026.
