After working in London as an architect and starting pottery as a hobby, Paula and her husband decided to move to Singapore. Once there, she wasn’t able to practise architecture and took the opportunity to focus on ceramics while juggling life with two young children and weaving her Brazilian roots and Asian influences into her colourful art. Believing in the power of handmade art, she launched ‘From Paula, with Love’ in Singapore, relocating the brand to London five years later. Inspired by her children’s endless drawings, she soon founded ‘Illustrated by Little Hands’, transferring their sketches onto ceramics. She also launched ‘The Pottery Club’, offering relaxed, one-off workshops in restaurants and pubs for adults, and ‘The Pottery Club Kids’ for younger creatives.
