When Hannah started stringing beads together as a child to help overcome the challenge of being born with no fingers on one hand, she had no idea that hobby would be the pathway into her full time job. As an adult stringing beads evolved into gold smithing, the tools started multiplying and took over and before she knew it there wasn’t time to do her day job and make jewellery - so she braved it and jumped ship. Hannah now spends her days in her purpose built home studio in York, crafting jewellery inspired by her own story and those of her customers from recycled sterling silver and gold.
