Growing up on her family’s organic farm in New Zealand, Penelope learned to transform raw plant material into natural products and developed a deep respect for Papatūānuku and guardianship of the land. After 30 years in the beauty industry and witnessing the plastic crisis firsthand, Penelope wanted to create her own brand rooted in care, sustainability, and giving back. She created Katoa Botanicals, a skincare brand, combining natural, thoughtful formulations with environmental responsibility.
