Abi started Merwave after spending years feeling frustrated with her hair. She thought it was frizzy, unruly and impossible to manage, never realising it was actually naturally wavy. Once she discovered what her hair needed, she became slightly obsessed. She spent countless hours researching wavy hair, testing products, filming videos in her bedroom and stopping strangers in the street to talk about waves. Somewhere along the way, she built an incredible community and became known as “that wavy hair woman”.
