As an avid whisky lover, Annabel was struck by the sheer lack of sustainability in the Scotch whisky industry. She decided to leave her job as a strategy consultant to start her own distillery with a mission to do two things: pioneer sustainability and create delicious, modern spirits. Annabel set out to create Nc'nean in 2013 and since the launch of their award-winning organic single malt whisky in August 2020, she has been changing the way the world thinks about whisky from Scotland. Nc'nean is a distillery that exists in harmony with the planet, using 100% renewable energy, 100% organic barley, and bottled in 100% recycled glass.
