From Prickles to Parties! Lorraine's son discovered hedgehogs in the family garden when he was just 13. Over the last 6 years he has become one of the UK’s most well-known young hedgehog conservationists. Being on that journey with him, and watching him fight for wildlife most people ignore made Lorraine look harder at the world, and in particular when discarded balloons were discovered in a hedgehog nest. She discovered that UK parties generate 90 million kilograms of plastic waste every year, and decided to take action by studying for environmental qualifications alongside building the Party Without Plastic marketplace. Now there’s a better way to party that’s good for people and the planet.
