Hilary founded Paused because she believes women are too often told to become smaller as they get older. Smaller in their ambitions, their confidence, their visibility and their expectations of life. Her own experience couldn't have been more different. In her fifties, she was building businesses, pursuing new goals and embracing opportunities she might once have thought were behind her. Drawing on years in the wellness industry, she created Paused to champion a different narrative: helping women age unapologetically, supported by science and inspired to live life on their own terms.
