Ploof began after Gill lost Agnes, her beloved soul dog. Her search for grief support soon opened her eyes to a much wider need: a community to support pet parents through every stage of life with their pets, from the day they come home to the day we have to say goodbye. Gill also wanted Ploof to celebrate the everyday joy of having a dog. Inspired by Agnes, who went everywhere with her, she created Ploof treats for cafés and restaurants, making dog friendly places genuinely dog friendly.
