Rachel's lifelong fascination with shoes has taken her from hand-making bespoke commissions in a garden shed and designing for brands including Next, to travelling the world as a freelance footwear designer. Disillusioned by the copycat culture of larger brands, she launched Rachel Simpson in 2008 to create beautiful, unique shoes made like they used to be, without compromising on comfort and adding her own little vintage twist.
