As a homesick Singaporean, Shu started cooking and hosting supper clubs from her little kitchen in London. In 2018, Shu started Rempapa Spice Co, selling her small-batch curry and sambal pastes from a farmers market stall. Rempapa comes from the word rempah, which means spice paste in Malay.
