Katie and Fran got the idea for Rewritten London in 2016 while working together in a previous role and struggling to find affordable, cool, modern bridesmaids’ dresses for their weddings. After submitting a business plan to Virgin StartUp Loans, Rewritten London was born. It all started in bridal, designing dresses for the women standing beside the bride, but it was never only about weddings. From day one, Rewritten designed for women, not ceremonies – in bold colour, modern cuts and pieces you’d wear again and again. These days, Rewritten London is all about the occasion be that a Christmas party, wedding, gala dinner, or just getting dressed up on a Tuesday.
