In October 2015, Jo’s life changed when she suffered a brain haemorrhage, and she had to leave her children for a lengthy hospital stay to undergo life‑threatening brain surgery. From her hospital bed, Jo became determined to create a business powered by purpose, to make people feel seen, supported and apart of something bigger.  Born in the worst times of Jo’s life and worn on the best, Scamp & Dude is a British B Corp™ Certified fashion brand famous for its Super Scarf Mission, where for every one of the brands Super Scarves sold, another is donated to a women starting chemotherapy, feel-good fits & warm community.  Celebrities including Davina McCall, Alison Hammond & Sara Davies MBE, have supported the brands Super Scarf Mission by co‑designing a scarf with Jo, helping to reach even more women, giving a superpower‑infused hug when it’s needed most.
