After the arrival of her first child, Caroline was looking for a more flexible creative career. She had always loved drawing and making cards. So when her family moved to Sussex, Caroline wrote (what she hoped was) a charming letter to the department store, Liberty, with a few of her hand-drawn cards enclosed. To her delight, they called a week later to place an order and with that the stationery brand, Scribble & Daub, was born.
