Shakti’s journey began in India in the 1990s when, burning with fever, she was nursed back to health by a goldsmith who worked on the floor beside her.  Watching his delicate hammering and sawing, a quiet voice inside her began to sing; she had found her passion. That moment carried her across the world, from tribal ceremonies with shamans to San Francisco, where master goldsmith Hratch Nargizian became her teacher, mentor, and lifelong friend. She launched her namesake jewellery brand to pay homage to her passion for and journey with her craft.
