Charlotte-Anne is a mother of two girls who seemed to go from having baby-perfect skin and hair, to spots and greasiness overnight! Like lots of mothers of her generation, she’d been very careful about what she used on their skin and bodies as they’d grown up. But as they headed towards puberty, she found it downright impossible to find products that would deal with their new needs; but also be safe, natural and gentle on their young and delicate skin.

She decided to make the leap and create the products herself! For 20 years she’d worked in glossy magazines - with a decade as a beauty editor - so she figured she knew her stuff. She convinced one of the UK’s best natural manufacturers to take her on (and getting a serious manufacturer to take on an embryonic skincare brand is NOT a piece of cake!). She tested the formulas on her girls and a cohort of teens and tweens. After two years of trying and lots of tweaking, Spots & Stripes was born.
