Monica created Spotty Pots Pottery Painting Coffee Shop to bring more creativity, joy and connection into everyday life. After nearly 18 years working in the NHS as a children’s Speech and Language Therapist, she found herself craving a more people-focused next chapter, somewhere families, friends and teams could come together to make memories. So, with the support of her husband, Monica took a leap. They remortgaged their house, cashed in their investments and bought a beautiful but dilapidated Edwardian Co-op in a small Warwickshire town. Five years on, that building has become Spotty Pots: a space where people can paint, gather, celebrate and create something meaningful. From pottery painting and baby footprints to hen dos, birthdays, team-building days and mobile events, Spotty Pots has grown into a place for creativity, connection, and joy.
