Chetanya grew up in restaurants and production kitchens, her parents were keen foragers and they produced miso, tofu and fermented pickles. Although she had always made pickles for friends and family, it was only later in life (2016), encouraged by friends, that she decided to share them with the world. She started tickles pickles, with Kimchi being the most popular product from the start. Chetanya refined her kimchi making skills in Korea with Jeong Kwan Seunim and has honed the flavour her brand is known for today.
