Ana has a background in furniture design, but when the industry stalled in 2020 she picked up a sewing machine as a creative outlet. With a house full of tiny testers she began mixing sculptural shapes with soft practical fabric. One day in a restaurant a woman complimented Ana's children on their 'fancy dress' outfits. It made Ana laugh, then realise how much she believed everyday clothes should feel extraordinary. It took a few years to find fabrics that felt right, a small UK team who shared her values and to refine every last detail but Tropel Kids was soon born.
