Siddhi and Heinin got the idea for Yhangry from their childhood countries like India and China, where cooks we're more of a commonplace, and home cooked food wasn't a luxury. As corporate professionals with limited time on their hands, the idea of hiring a chef to do the home cooking felt like a no brainer, especially combined with the insight that chefs are one of the lowest paid professions and can really use the extra income. They launched Yhangry in 2019, and haven't looked back! Funded by Dragons Den, and Silicon Valleys largest accelerator YCombinator, they are on a mission to make hiering a chef easy and accessible.
