Josephine has always loved exotic travel, from Italy to Myanmar, and has a particular love for ancient techniques of indigenous communities. She wanted to give customers a way to bring handmade into their homes in an updated modern way. She created Casa: a path to market in the west that keeps traditional knowledge and communities intact and offers financial empowerment (especially to women).
