Sonya never set out to own a chilli company. In 2025, she and her fiancé Max stumbled upon the opportunity to take over Chillis Galore, a small Norfolk business that had been making chilli jam since 1999. The brand already held a special place in Max's heart—he grew up with it, and his late mum gifted Sonya a jar when they first met. Leaving behind a career in tech, Sonya took a leap into the unknown and is now proud to be reimagining a much-loved British food brand for a new generation.
