Frankie started Frankie’s Brownies in her Mum’s kitchen in Elephant & Castle, South London, during the first lockdown in 2020, following redundancy. Frankie never dreamed that the brownies she was making on a Sunday afternoon would turn into her dream business. What started as a side hustle turned into her full-time role once she secured a contract with Honest Burgers, their first dessert listing in 16 of their restaurants across the UK, and went on to sell over 35,000 units of delicious, gluten-free desserts. Frankie hopes to serve as an inspiration to other working-class young women across the UK, encouraging them to always believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.
