Jodie and Kamal started Junk Crisps after coming across vegetable crisps they genuinely loved and wondering why nothing like them was widely available in the UK. They were tired of choosing between snacks that felt healthy but tasted boring, or snacks that were fun but unhealthy. They also wanted to build a business that could do some good, using surplus and wonky vegetables to help tackle food waste while creating better-for-you snacks without the compromise.
