Inspired by their parents bakery in Wembley which made traditional japanese mochi which is filled with red bean paste, Vivien and her brother had the idea to give it a modern twist with wider mass appeal by filling it with icecream instead of red bean paste. With the help of their father to perfect the recipe, they launched the brand initially only selling to restaurants.
