Malvern Bitters is the creation of Pippa Sanderson, a Malvern lady of a certain age who found there was a certain piquancy missing from her usual tipple; the traditional G&T just wasnt cutting it anymore. She started experimenting with different treats for her tastebuds in the form of bitters, such as Angostura. She became curious as to whether she could create her own bitters by combining a blend of natural botanicals. Her favourite recipe included local Malvern water and ingredients traditionally used to alleviate the symptoms of several age-related conditions, including menopause and arthritis. Her perfect G&T addition, Malvern Bitters, was born.
