Sally had been running a catering company for some years, and served her home-made ice cream at events. Guests at weddings and other functions kept asking where they could buy her ice cream, so Sally developed three flavours and tried them out by selling in local farm shops. As sales took off, she was making them in her kitchen with the help of her husband after her kids went to bed. Very soon an extension to their home became the factory.
