When the accessory shop in Brighton that Tegen worked for closed, she was made redundant. She loved her job and the team so she was very sad to see the shop close. Confident that the old shop had been filling a gap in the market for high-quality, unique hair accessories for all hair types, she re-hired members from her team and enlisted her husbands help to refurbish a nearby boutique. Tegen Accessories was born, and since the pandemic, it has moved to a fully online business model.
