When Oliver became seriously ill in 2021, Helene and Oliver had to let go of the knitting business they'd built together, and the community they loved along with it. Recovery took time, but as Oliver's health returned, they wondered: what next? Born from Helene’s frustration at seeing handmade and precious pieces ruined by harsh detergents and the wrong handling, Yarn Food launched in 2025 — fibre-specific, gentle and deeply personal.
