In early 2025, Mariana set out to build more muscle after years of having a low muscle mass. As she increased her protein intake, she quickly realised that most protein products were designed around men’s gym culture and performance goals, often relying on whey protein and ingredients that didn’t suit her. At the same time, the few options designed for women felt too clinical, restrictive, and lacked taste. She believed women deserved better. So, Bo was born: a protein brand created to bring together nutrition for women with indulgent flavours and a fun, enjoyable consumption experience.
