Sisters Divya & Priya had a vision of creating a yoga clothing brand combining comfort and style, whilst paying homage to their vibrancy and colour of their Indian heritage and the concept of energy. They decided on the brand name in honour of the sanskrit word chakras which means energy centres within the body. The seven letters reflect the seven chakras of the body. They added a Y to balance out the word, a dual symbol for both yoga and you as they believe wellness practices such as yoga can balance energy flows and give valuable time for self-reflection.
