MarGins founder Rachel is a gin sipping enthusiast who set out to create a premium spirit to be served neat, savoured just like a smooth single malt or fine Cognac. An ex-banker with an interest in the history of English finance, she chanced upon the 'white fiver', the first five-pound note issued by the Bank of England in 1793 which remained in circulation virtually unchanged for over 160 years. Inspired, Rachel set about creating her artisanal gin to reflect the history and heritage of this note and so MarGin was born, a tipple as cool, crisp and uncomplicated as a freshly printed ‘white fiver’.
